Artemisia Gentileschi
Superior Suite
Artemisia Gentileschi is a great painter of the Roman Baroque. The Suite we dedicated to her is a refined and precious environment characterized by an awesome circular fresco with arabesques, which is reflected by a mosaic rosette on the floor. A large contemporary painting (“King and Queen”) stands out on the main wall, acting as a modern counterpoint to the Renaissance fresco.
For maximum comfort the Artemisia Suites offers a generous double bed, in the unique Nobildonne King Size of 240 x 190, with memory foam topper.
A large window allows the natural light to flow into the bathroom reflecting itself on the glass tiles coating. The Suite has also an own entrance with mosaic floor, in which a rich coffee station is available.
In the Suite visible a contemporary reproduction of a self-portrait dated 1638, in which Artemisia paints herself as Allegory of Painting (currently exhibited at Kensington Palace in London).
